JEWELRY CARE
My hope is that your jewelry lasts as long as you do! Here are some tips and care instructions to help you with that.
**Store your jewelry in a cool dry place or in a ziploc bag to protect it.
**Put that jewelry on last, girl! Avoid exposing it to soaps, lotions, and perfumes which can decrease the life of the jewelry.
**Chlorine is the worst enemy of metal! If you can avoid it, don't swim or use cleaners while wearing your jewelry.

RAW BRASS: Raw brass will age and darken over time to a beautiful antique look. If you love the look of aged brass, then you're good! If you prefer brass more golden, brass jewelry polish or a polishing cloth will be your friend. For the naturalistas, vinegar or ketchup can be used to remove tarnish by soaking or rubbing gently. Rinse it well with warm water and dry completely before storing.
STERLING SILVER: Sterling Silver will darken over time, especially when unworn for periods of time. Silver jewelry polish or a polishing cloth will help keep your items looking gorgeous. Also store your silver in something airtight with an anti-tarnish strip. Naturalistas, try using baking soda. Make a paste with the powder & some water. Coat your jewelry with this mixture and gently polish off. Rinse well with warm water when done and dry completely before storing.
GOLD FILLED: Gold filled jewelry can be cared for exactly like other precious metal jewelry. Clean your items with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. For a deeper clean, polish your items with small dab of toothpaste, a soft toothbrush, and lots of water. Dry completely before storing.
GOLD/SILVER PLATED: Plated jewelry will turn with time and wear. Stay away from sleeping, swimming, or sweating in your plated jewelry. Definitely do not clean with polishing compounds or a polishing cloth as this will take the plating right off! Store your gold plated separately from your silver plated as the different metals can cause each other to tarnish. Clean your items with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Dry completely before storing.
